Python program to find the area of a triangle
In this example, we will show you how you can find the area of a given triangle in Python language. The formula to find the area of a triangle is :
Area of a triangle = (s*(s-a)*(s-b)*(s-c))-1/2
Note :Here s is the semi-perimeter and a, b and c are three sides of the triangle.
Example :
# Three sides of the triangle is a, b and c:
a = float(input('Enter first side: '))
b = float(input('Enter second side: '))
c = float(input('Enter third side: '))
# calculate the semi-perimeter
s = (a + b + c) / 2
# calculate the area
area = (s*(s-a)*(s-b)*(s-c)) ** 0.5
print('The area of the triangle is %0.2f' %area)
Output:

The area of the triangle is 72.62
