Basics of Computers Tutorial

A computer is an electronic system that receives input, stores or processes the information according to user instructions and produces output in the specified format. Computers have become an integral part of our lives because they can repeatedly perform easy tasks without repeatedly getting bored and complex ones without making errors. In this tutorial we will discuss in detail the various computer parts that allow it to perform tasks efficiently and correctly. We'll also be discussing microprocessors, the computer brain, which actually does all the tasks assigned.

Prerequisites

This course has no prerequisites except a desire to learn how a computer works. Operating on a computer will have an added advantage of completing the tutorial.
